MASK Heroes

We Maskettes often find ourselves wishing for fantastical and fanciful objects to help create the most fun parties. And so when it came to working on our Mad Hatter's Tea Party for a regular and very creative client, what we wanted most was to have a wonderful and huge tree filling the venue to form a canopy for our tea table of treats….just like in the book. However, with a super tight deadline, finding a 9' Enchanted Tree is no mean feat (even for the Maskettes).

And so it was that we trawled through our Little Pink Book, calling on our ever reliable troop of suppliers to help. We looked at all kinds of props and real trees, but non really had the je ne sais quoi we were looking for….until we spoke to our hero Lisa, a long time prop and décor source. Lisa was able to bring in on time and on budget the tree of our dreams….a whole 9' tall and almost 20' wide, so that it towered over our guests and created the perfect frame for our playful centre piece.

With our little additions of pretty pastel feathered birds, colourful hanging jam jar lanterns, and of course The Cheshire Cat, our tree created a fabulous talking point…. whilst guests took advantage of photo opportunities beneath then helped themselves to glittered fruit tarts and heart shaped sandwiches on stands embellished with more cute birds and some caterpillar and bee friends too. Our guests were just as delighted as we were and so we are as ever so grateful for Lisa, our MASK hero.
