Hot off the press: we are recruiting a new, uber-organised Senior Event Planner.

SENIOR EVENT PLANNER
Reporting directly to Managing Director, Sarah Kay.
Production
~ Oversee all production at Mask, including management of the team in relation to production
~ Oversee the delivery of all large Mask events
~ Design, manage and produce creative event proposals and quotes. This will include venue finding, décor design, illustrations, proposal writing & procurement of costs from suppliers
~ Liaise with venues, suppliers, clients, local authorities and other bodies in the planning and delivering of Mask-quality events; budget events to achieve agreed profit margins and reconcile budgets post-event
~ Event manage and lead on-site teams
~ Manage the production assistant
~ Provide production support to the team
~ Run weekly in-house production meetings with the team
~ Maintain a first class knowledge of venues in London and keep up to date with new venue openings and opportunities
~ Creative ideas: maintain a knowledge of current trends in fashion/style and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for parties and events
~ Assist with budgeting for large scale projects
~ Oversee the Olympic and 2012 programme
~ Produce Terms and Conditions and invoices for events and detailed production notes and critical pathways.
~ Attend site visits and planning meetings with clients and suppliers
~ Liaise with caterers and venues regarding tastings and menus
~ Liaise with suppliers to source and procure items for events
Procurement, Finance and Health and Safety
~ Develop and search for new and innovative suppliers to find new creative ideas and products.
~ Ensure Production and on-site event adherence to current Health and Safety, licensing, policy statement and other legal requirements are met and attend internal Concerto Group H&S monthly meetings.
~ Oversee Invoicing payment system for all large events, check debtors lists and ensure that invoices are sent out and paid.
General
~ Liaise with venues, competitors, production companies, caterers and colleagues to maintain positive relationships
~ Assist with the training and management of Interns and new members of staff
~ Manage the stock and keep an up to date inventory
~ Represent Mask at networking events
~ Contribute to the blog with creative ideas and writing
