Spring in Full Bloom

Here in the MASK office we can barely wait to don our strappy dresses and wedges, and so with the first signs of Spring in the crocuses and daffodils blooming in the courtyard outside, we have been inspired to rejoice in all things floral…..

As London Fashion Week brought us a veritable bouquet of vivid brights and girly florals, we were busy on our annual Spring venue rounds…..and as we wandered the length and breadth of London through park, garden, and tree-lined square, we found Spring awakening around us in the daffodils, crocuses and blossom.

Up on the roof terraces of the Royal Opera House and No. 4 Hamilton Place, we found lemon trees and spring blooms as well as views onto the park beginning to burst with colour…..at the Hoxton we found the most idyllic secret garden, where we dreamed of balmy spring afternoon teas…..and at Grosvenor House we were greeted by the most vivid display of tulips by the dozen.

Enthused by our Spring tour, we're not only set to enliven our wardrobes with this season's floral brights, but we can't wait to take lead from the season with our party styling and introduce some of these vivid blooms to our upcoming events. No doubt our florists will be hearing lots from us, and briefs by way of gleaming colour will be the order of the day. And whilst it might be the floral bunting we string up to match the ditsy floral linen, it wouldn't harm to take the look a little more tropical when it comes to cocktails, when we'll add exotic floral garnishes to vivid tangerine-tone mixes.

So it's all-hail to the blue sky outside our window!
